A late Diogo Jota goal saved the day for 10-man Liverpool in a thrilling 2-2 draw with Fulham at Anfield. The Reds showed some serious grit, coming from behind twice and keeping their unbeaten streak against Fulham alive at seven matches.

The action kicked off early, with Andrew Robertson at the center of several first-half moments. Just a minute in, he was knocked down by a heavy challenge from Issa Diop, who picked up one of four yellow cards for Fulham before halftime.

Fulham struck first on 10 minutes. Antonee Robinson made a great run and sent a perfect cross to Andreas Pereira, whose acrobatic shot deflected off Robertson and found the net. It was the start of a rough day for Liverpool’s left-back.

Things got worse for Robertson just five minutes later when a miscontrolled pass let Harry Wilson swoop in. In his attempt to recover, Robertson brought down the Fulham winger, earning a red card for denying a clear goal-scoring chance. Down to 10 men, Liverpool struggled to adjust, while Marco Silva’s team couldn’t take full advantage.

After a wild first half, the Reds came out swinging after the break. It took just two minutes for them to equalize as Mohamed Salah’s teasing cross found Cody Gakpo, who snuck in at the back post to head it home. Anfield erupted, sensing Liverpool wasn’t finished yet.

The game turned into a back-and-forth showdown, with Salah missing a chance after a quick counter-attack. Fulham, however, struck again when substitute Rodrigo Muniz restored their lead. Robinson, a constant threat on the left, pulled the ball back for Muniz, who scuffed his shot but still found the bottom corner.

Liverpool responded right away. Diogo Jota showed his quick instincts, turning inside the box to fire a low shot past Bernd Leno and level the score at 2-2. Even with a man down, Liverpool pushed hard for a winner. Virgil van Dijk even played as a makeshift striker, but it was Alisson who made the final save of the match, denying Adama Traoré’s powerful shot in the dying moments.

While Liverpool might be disappointed about dropping points at home, their fighting spirit with 10 men will surely impress Jurgen Klopp. For Fulham, it was a missed opportunity, but they showed they can hang with the Premier League’s best.
